Start With the Correct Device Information

When checking information about a Stealthy disposable, start with the instructions for the exact model rather than relying on general online descriptions. Read the manufacturer’s warnings and care recommendations carefully. If instructions are missing or unclear, contact the manufacturer instead of guessing how the device should be handled. The FDA recommends understanding the manufacturer’s instructions before using or charging a vaping device.

Check Charging Instructions Carefully

Only charge a Stealthy disposable if the manufacturer’s instructions for that exact model confirm it is rechargeable. Use the charging cable and charger supplied or approved by the manufacturer, and follow the recommended charging requirements. When instructions are unclear, contact the manufacturer rather than guessing.

Place the device on a firm, flat surface away from bedding, cushions and other flammable materials. Keep it somewhere you can see it while charging, and do not leave it charging overnight. Avoid charging in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, and never charge a damaged, swollen, leaking or unusually hot device.

Recognise Battery Warning Signs

Stop using or charging your Stealthy disposable if you notice excessive heat, swelling, leaking, an unusual chemical or burning smell, or hissing and popping sounds. These can indicate a battery problem. Do not puncture, crush or continue charging a damaged device, and avoid handling it if it is too hot to touch safely.

If the device starts smoking or catches fire, do not touch or move it. Get everyone outside immediately, close doors behind you if safe to do so, and call your local emergency services from a safe location. Stay outside and do not re-enter the building.

Dispose of Used Devices Responsibly

Do not put a used vaping device in household rubbish or your normal recycling bin. Devices containing lithium batteries can cause fires if crushed or damaged during waste collection, transport or processing.

Contact your local waste authority to find a collection service that accepts complete vaping devices. Confirm that the facility accepts your device and ask about any handling requirements before taking it there. In the United States, the EPA recommends using household hazardous-waste collection sites for discarded e-cigarettes.

Do not break open the device or attempt to remove a built-in battery that is not designed to be removed. For damaged or swollen batteries, contact the manufacturer or local hazardous-waste service for specific handling and disposal instructions.

This article provides general battery-safety information, not a model-specific safety assessment. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local disposal requirements.
